Biography

Dr. Jun-Dar Hwang is a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Electrophysics at National Chiayi University, Taiwan. He received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology in 1986 and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan, in 1990 and 1996, respectively.

His research interests include solar cells, photodetectors, optoelectronic materials and devices, semiconductor devices, semiconductor processing and technology, ULSI technology, and microelectronics. His research also focuses on semiconductor thin films, heterojunction devices, transparent conducting electrodes, and ultraviolet photodetectors, with particular applications in optoelectronics and nanotechnology.

Dr. Hwang has published extensively in the fields of semiconductor devices, optoelectronic materials, thin-film technology, photodetectors, and solar-cell technologies, contributing to the development of advanced optoelectronic and semiconductor devices.
