Dr. Rahman is a researcher specializing in pharmaceutical analysis, chemistry, and advanced sensor development. He earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) in 2021. His research focuses on designing high-performance chemical, biosensors, and optical sensors for detecting biogenic amines in food, environmental, and biological samples. He develops electrochemical sensors using conductive materials derived from natural sources and integrates enzyme-based bioreceptors to enhance sensitivity and selectivity. With a background in Pharmacy, he also worked on bioactive compounds from medicinal plants. His expertise spans chromatography, spectroscopy, chemometrics, and sustainable analytical innovation for real-world applications.
