Biography

Dr. Engr. Musaab Habib Bangash is a Civil and Environmental Engineer and currently serving as Deputy Director (Technical) at the Public Health Engineering Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila, with research focused on water quality and disinfection by-products in drinking water systems.

With extensive experience in the WASH sector, he has been actively involved in the planning, design, and implementation of water supply and sanitation projects, including donor-funded and climate-resilient interventions. His work spans water quality monitoring, environmental pollution assessment, wastewater management, and sustainable infrastructure development.

Dr. Bangash has contributed to technical planning, environmental compliance (IEE/EIA), and policy-level inputs, while also engaging in research and capacity building. His areas of interest include sustainable water management, environmental health, and integration of innovative and nature-based solutions in the WASH sector.
