Biography

Eugenia León-Jiménez holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Sciences and Arts of Chiapas, México and a Master of Science in Tropical Horticulture. Currently, she is a Ph.D. student in Food Science and Biotechnology in National Technological Institute of Mexico. Her research focuses on the green synthesis of nanoparticles and their application in pest control and phytotoxicity evaluation. She gained valuable experience through national research stays at the National Technological Institute of Mexico (Tuxtla Campus) in the plant tissue in vitro culture laboratory and at the Autonomous University of Baja California's Environmental Biotechnology Laboratory. Actively participates in national and international conferences to present her findings.
